About Us

In November of 2002, Jason Neimark made a break from the urban life of a NYC dog trainer to pursue his dream of creating a central place where the dogs he loves so much are always welcome. After much research into the various potential locations for a dog daycare, Jason returned to his coastal routes, finding a convenient location in the middle of Long Island’s south fork.

Being a native of Seaford Long Island, Jason has always been fascinated with the value of the natural world and all of its creatures. From the time he was a child, living with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, reptiles and fish to his collegiate interning at the Niagara Falls Aquarium, where he swam daily with Dolphins, Sea Lions and Harbor Seals, Jason knew he would always work with animals. Jason’s desire to apply his knowledge eventually lead him to discover that his true passion was to work with dogs at all levels. Since then he has founded “Canine Consultants”, a NYC dog training company; “NYPC”, a retail pet products company, as well as “Animal Works”, an animal casting company. The Hampton Pet Club is the culmination of a life dedicated to the love of animals and their humane treatment. It also fulfills his desire to serve the community in which he and his dog Ziggy, an Italian Spinone, love so much.

Helping Jason realize this vision is Tasha Zamsky, a 10 year veteran of dog training who has worked extensively placing animals in film and TV with the LA based casting company “Paws For Effect”. Tasha and her boxer Petey have relocated to the New York area where she is now placing dogs from the Hamptons in various projects in New York City. Rounding out the team is Todd Lester, a long time friend of Jason’s who brings the necessary business skills which he developed while working in the hotel management, software production, and accounting industries. Together with a caring and professional staff, HPC pledge’s to satisfy your dog’s every need.

The Hampton Pet Club’s goal is to become a community resource for dog owners. In addition to creating the happiest and healthiest place for dogs to stay when you can’t be with them, we are committed to working to improve the lives of all east end dogs. We are doing this by affiliating ourselves with the areas local dog rescue and adoption facilities; ARF, the Town of Southampton, and Elsa’s Ark.
